3 TIPS TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE FOR CALL OF DUTY: WARZONE 2 (QUALITY + PERFORMANCE) VIDEO

Tired of Warzone 2 frame drops ruining crucial gunfights? Even Low settings aren't cutting it?

Warzone 2 Wont Stop Stuttering? 3 Tweaks that Actually Boosted My FPS!

Hey fellow Operators, anyone else getting framerate drops in Warzone 2 that turn intense gunfights into slideshows?  Even cranking the graphics down to Low or Medium didn't seem to help, and those stutters were seriously messing up my game. I decided to take matters into my own hands and experiment with some settings, and guess what? I actually managed to smooth out my gameplay without sacrificing too much visual quality!

Here are the 3 tweaks that saved my sanity (and K/D):

Virtual Memory Magic: Turns out, there are some hidden settings in the game that affect your VRAM, that precious memory used for graphics. I went into the options and played around with the "Video Memory Scale" (found under Advanced Graphics), setting it slightly below where it was originally. This freed up some VRAM and boom! Instant smoother gameplay, especially during those hectic firefights.

V-sync the Smart Way: We all know V-sync can prevent screen tearing, but it can also tank your FPS. Instead of just turning it on or off, I tried something different. I limited the V-sync refresh rate to the maximum refresh rate of my monitor. This essentially locked the FPS to my monitor's capabilities, eliminating the frame-rate inconsistencies that caused stutters. Genius, right?

Bonus Tip: Close Those Background Hogs! This one might seem obvious, but you'd be surprised how many programs running in the background can steal precious resources from your game. Before launching Warzone 2, make sure to close any unnecessary applications, including web browsers, music players, and that pesky Discord notification window (guilty as charged!). Every little bit of freed-up RAM can make a difference.

The Results? These tweaks may not make your game look like a cinematic masterpiece, but they gave me a significant FPS boost, especially in crowded areas and during gunfights. Now, I can actually focus on aiming and strategizing instead of cursing at my stuttering screen.

Remember, every system is different, so these settings might need some fine-tuning on your end. But I encourage you to experiment and find what works best for you! Let's all become smoother, happier Operators on the battlefield.
